C-130 plans

Uncle willie,

Just wanted to let you know that your plans for the C130 were used to construct this plane

for a USO fund raiser here in San Diego.

We built it from large blocks of foam, Luan and Lucite.

The wingspan is almost 20 feet.

Unfortunately, it does not fly.

It is now hanging in the office of the Commanding Officer at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.

Thanks again for giving us a place to start this project. It was well received by the public

including many old time Veterans.
