Biography
I'm an engineer. I spend my days designing and project managing the manufacture/installation/commissioning of machinery targeted at the bottling industry (beer, water, soft drinks etc.)
I'm 34 years old, and have a partner (not married yet) and a 1 year old daughter. I live in Auckland, New Zealand.
I started building rubber powered models at about 10. First flew RC in mid teens. Have been in and out of the hobby since then. Flew gliders for a while. Designed a few lightweight hand launch gliders, mainly to experiment with different airfoils and composite construction methods. As for drawing plans, I have redrawn just about every plane I have built. I'm never happy with the way the planes are designed, so I've always re-designed them. A lot of people do this, but most don't re-draw the plans, they just make changes as they build. I found that being able to draw and operate CAD certainly helped a lot with building planes.
These are high resolution TIFF files and PDF files containing 250 x 250 dots per inch.
The 3 files will print 2 sheets at 36" x 72" and one wing sheet at 36" x 84".
If requested, I also have them as DWG and DXF files.
When purchasing a plan from me, I strongly suggest that you create a new folder on your desk top, properly named (example: X Plane) and "save" the email attachments to that folder.
