Great Lakes Trainer Page 38

 40" wing span

HISTORY: The Great Lakes Aircraft Corporation was located at 16800 St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, in the former Glenn L. Martin factory. Operating between 1929 and 1935, Great Lakes was primarily a manufacturer of military aircraft, including Navy torpedo planes.  However, from 1929 to 1933 the firm designed and produced a biplane for civilian use.  These 2T-1A Sport Trainers became popular because they were easy to maneuver and fun to fly.  Great Lakes ads claimed the plane could take off in 50 yards and land in just 100.  Pilots liked them so well that the Sport Trainer was revived in the 1970s, when a different manufacturer acquired the rights and produced a second generation of the airplane, the 2T- 1A-2

The file will print a plan 36" x 46".

Subject: Mighty Mambo Plan

Mr. Uncle Willie,

I would like to try one of your plans at this Memorial day special.  I have had some bad experience with someone on Ebay a Skystone.  I would like to try your plan before taking a chance in buying some.  If you have not given away all the free plan, please send to me the Sterling Mighty Mambo from page 38 of your number two website, the new website.  I very much appreciate your generosity.

FYI: Rick is from Russia

Hi Rick. I am sorry to here that. Ebay is a criminals dream come true. Much of the items are stolen. This makes it very hard for those who are honest to compete. Items listed as "still in the box", "never used" or "still has the tag on it" are warning signs that it is most likely stolen (also known as retail theft, "five-finger discount", "jacking", "nicking" or "shoplifting"). Copyrighted items are all stolen. Avoid all eBay members that are members of Square Trade as they are able to pay eBay to have ALL negative feed back removed. This creates a very hostile place and unfair business atmosphere for all legitimate business people. skystone01 is one of the worst offenders there is.
