Los Angeles dirigible Page 26

I just got in this this nifty magazine for 1968 and fell in love with this super unique plan and article. Knowing I would NEVER-EVER find the plan, I scanned the image of the plan from the magazine, and begin to work my magic on it. 5 hours later (HEY, I am a perfectionist! Not some fly by night Ebay con artist) I can proudly say good enough.
So here is a plan like no other you will ever find (until some scum bag on ebay gets a hold of my work and starts selling the plans). Just perfect for today's super small electrics.

53" O.A. Length. Maximum diameter 11.5". Weight; 13 oz les RC gear. Helium filled, which I have seen at party stores in small LP gas type containers for filling balloons at parties

Disclaimer: Dirigible not recommended to be flown during hurricanes!
I need to get the heck out of Dodge, er,,, I mean Florida, or as we say,,, FloraDuh, remember the hanging chads fiasco :-0

The file will print a plan 36" x 49".

File $5.00
I think there a fishin.  Looks like a bite. Reel her in boys. YEAHAAAAA
I am so good that you would have never known that I scanned this image of a plan from an old magazine if I hadn't told you.

Chase C-122 Avitruc

Hobby Helpers Chase C-122 Avitruc

Chase C-122 Avitruc, 36" wingspan, length 23", power 2-.049s, control line. Being such an incrediably rare plane, the plane could be converted to RC by a skilfull builder. Lots of room for batteries and RC gear. Just check out that aspect ratio. Aileron outline shown.

Aren't you tired of building the same old crap?

The file will print a plan 24" x 45".

File $5.00

HEINKLE He 219 ~ Night Fighter

This is a very nice fully restored Hobby Helpers line control plan.... Remember, this plan originally came in 6 separate sheets!

Wing span 61"..... Power: 2 - .35 - .59..... A FOX .59 is shown. The magazine article is included.

HISTORY: The Heinkel 219 'Uhu' (Owl) was designed from the outset as a nightfighter, and incorporated many advanced features such as a pressurized cockpit and tricycle undercarriage. It was also the first operational aircraft in the world to be equipped with ejector seats. As you can that it was also fitted with search radar in the nose, and also a passive warning system in the tail, to warn if the aircraft was being followed. Another unusual feature was that the aircraft carried a pair of cannon in the mid fuselage area, which pointed upwards and slightly forwards. This enabled it to fly amongst the night time bomber streams, and slide into a position below them (which was 'blind spot' for many RAF bombers) and open fire. this was a very effective technique codenamed 'schrage musik' (Jazz music) by the Luftwaffe. It proved to be the best night fighter in Luftwaffe service, but like many late war projects was only available in small numbers which were fortunately not sufficient to alter the outcome of the war.

File $5.00

Mike built his plane from this plan.

Plane weighs 7 pounds with two K&B 45 Green Heads, pulls like a mother!

I now have this plane plan as a DWG file.
It is located on my new web site at:
